A single arcing plane extends into a serene corridor, capturing the quiet descent of ash within an architectural framework. Hand-shaped through precise wet-molding, Sequence structures the ritual of scent into a disciplined yet warm experience.
The Sequence Leather Incense Holder includes a complimentary tube of Taiwanese-made incense. Crafted by a sixth-generation incense maker, the incense utilizes 150-year-old traditional techniques and natural aromatic materials.
This scent, extended from the land, allows the object to connect intimately with its origin and craft lineage.
序 香座 〔 AN ARCHITECT : PARTI 系列 〕
由單一立面延展為靜謐廊道，在建築語彙中收束香灰落下的餘暉。經由嚴謹的手感濕塑定型，將燃香儀式納入溫潤的工藝秩序之中。
序 香座 隨附一管精選的臺灣製線香。這管香氣的出處，源自於在地第六代製香師的工藝，沿用了一百五十年的傳統工法與天然香材進行精心鞣製。
這份延續自土地的純粹香氣，WÈI CRAFT 不僅為伴物者帶來沉靜的體驗，更讓革物件能夠與其文化源起及背後的工藝傳承脈絡，建立起更為緊密且深層的連結。

Concept
Rising from a single vertical plane, the Sequence incense holder arcs into an inclined surface, eventually extending into a serene corridor of space. In this parti, the incense stands like a raised flagpole, its fragrance drifting outward to symbolize the intention of the one who lights it. The upright stick, silent yet resolute, reflects a spirit that may be firm or supple.
Within the corridor, ash falls slowly and gathers, like the afterglow following a grand gathering, eventually settling into stillness. “Take, light, stand, breathe, extinguish” — the quiet interaction between the object’s companion and the incense gradually unfolds within this space named Sequence.
Each curve is shaped through repeated wet-molding by hand, pushing the boundaries of contemporary craftsmanship. Under the artisan’s pressure, leather gradually conforms, yielding precise yet gentle lines. The unrepeatable curves and proportions embody the disciplined logic of the Architect, while preserving the tactile warmth of handcrafted leather.
序 香座 由一立面拔地而起，頂端緩緩彎曲，延入斜面，最終沒入一段靜謐而修長的廊道。 在這只建築的 parti 裡，線香如同迎風揚起的旗桿，香氣散逸，象徵燃香者的主張；無聲卻堅定的立香，映照出或剛健、或柔韌的精神。
長廊之間，香灰緩緩落下、聚集，如同盛會散去後的餘暉，最終收束於靜。 「取、燃、立、聞、熄」——伴物者與香的溫柔互動，在名為「序」的空間裡徐徐展開。
每一道彎折都經過工藝師反覆濕塑、手工定型，推向當代革工藝的極致。皮革在掌壓間逐漸服貼，形成精確而溫潤的線條。這份難以複製的弧度與比例，使作品在嚴謹秩序中，仍保有雙手真實的觸感。
